Why should I Join?

Summed up in one word, Connection…… Our association provides a way for past serving, and current members to remain connected
through various events, ceremonies and activities. These include:
-Once a month social gatherings
-Ceremonies such as Remembrance Day and the Opening of Light Horse Park.
-Battlefield Tours
-Association dinners and other special events.
-Volunteer work such as Casinos to support the South Alberta Foundation, and River Valley Raft
Day.

Who Can Join?

Anyone with an interest in The South Alberta Light Horse (Alberta’s Regiment) or the South
Alberta Regiment or 19th Alberta Dragoons. You do not have to have been a serving member,
but only those who have served in the Regiment may vote at our monthly meetings) We have
some members who had a relative who have served in past wars and conflicts. Some members
have an interest in Military History, and the role Albertans played and continue to play in our
Military.

How do I Join?

Fill out the application and our Membership Officers will contact you. You can become an annual
member for $20.00 or a Lifetime Member for $200.00. If you join as a Lifetime Member, you will
receive a Display Folder with your name and a copy of the Battle Honours Gidon of the
Regiment. You can pay with a cheque or e-transfer to:
